These internships are for a period of 12 months on a part-time basis, from January to December every year. Applications open around September and close in November for the following year.

Please note, TraumaClinic's Internship no longer qualifies you to write the Registered Counsellor Exam with the HPCSA.

Internships are available for international students for periods of three to ten months. This is an ideal opportunity to experience the vibrant city of Cape Town while gaining experience in the field of psychological trauma. Placements are mainly in community projects and schools. The practical experience is balanced by theoretical input and regular supervision by internationally acclaimed specialists in Trauma Psychology.
